Quizlet Terms and Definitions Converter
Paste terms and definitions from a set you own or may migrate. The converter separates the two fields, reports problems, and creates a portable file.
Free, no sign-up, no ads, and fully browser-based
How to use it
- 1
Copy terms and definitions from a set you have permission to use.
- 2
Paste the list and check how each row is split in the preview.
- 3
Export CSV or TSV and test a few cards in the destination app.
Verify separators and rights before moving a set
Copied term lists can use tabs, commas, or a dash between the term and definition. This converter prioritizes tabs and falls back to a common separator when needed. A preview exposes lines that split in the wrong place, blank definitions, and duplicate fronts. Replacing the intended boundary with a tab is the most reliable way to fix an ambiguous row.
Only convert material you created or have the right to use and migrate. This tool does not authorize copying or redistributing someone else's set. Images, audio, formatting, folders, and study history are not included in a text export. Use CSV when you want to review the data in a spreadsheet and TSV for a basic two-field Anki import. Always test a small temporary deck before modifying an established collection.
This tool works without an account and processes the inputs in your browser. Treat the result as a decision aid, then compare it with the rules in your syllabus or the latest information from the testing provider. A number is most useful when it changes what you do next: isolate the weak material, turn it into a clear retrieval prompt, and schedule another attempt after some forgetting has occurred. That closes the loop between calculation and durable learning.
Frequently asked questions
Does this tool sign in to Quizlet?
No. Copy a term-definition list that you are allowed to use and paste it here. The converter does not access your account.
Can it transfer images or study history?
No. It converts term and definition text only. Quizlet-specific media and learning history remain outside the file.
Does this tool upload my study data?
The calculation or conversion runs in this browser. Avoid entering confidential information, and keep an exported backup of material you cannot replace.
Can I treat the result as an official grade or score?
Use it as a planning estimate. Your school, testing provider, syllabus, and official score report take priority over this browser calculation.
