Editorial and research method

How Memly checks claims, sources, product facts, localization, and structured data across study guides, comparisons, free tools, and official decks.

Policy updated: 2026-08-22

1. Source hierarchy

Claims about learning research prioritize peer-reviewed papers, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Exam scope, curricula, standards, and product specifications prioritize the responsible organization, public agency, or official documentation. Strong effects and numbers are not inferred from secondary summaries alone.

  • Link to a source that directly supports the claim
  • State the population, conditions, and material limitations
  • Do not generalize one study to every learner

2. Product facts and comparisons

Pricing, Trial terms, platforms, and features for Memly and compared products are checked against current product pages, store listings, and official help content. Variable Trial usage is not frozen into a permanent number, and competing products are described with comparable detail and restraint.

3. Official-deck method

Memly selects and edits each deck for study. Exam operators and educational institutions do not endorse every card or the chosen item count. Sources shown on a deck page establish the relevant exam level, curriculum, or terminology system.

Visible source links and LearningResource citations come from the same editorial registry.

4. Localization and structured data

Japanese, English, and Korean pages are reviewed for equivalent meaning, limitations, and pricing rules rather than literal wording. FAQPage or HowTo markup is used only when the same questions, answers, or steps are visible on the page. Claims are not added only to metadata or JSON-LD.

5. Updates and corrections

Pages receive a new modification date when their content changes. Send errors, broken links, or outdated product information to admin@memly.ai. Advertising, partnerships, or free access do not override factual checks or editorial judgment.
